Nicholas has 15 years’ experience within Financial Services including the set-up of Futures and CFD brokerages in the UK and Cyprus.

Before moving into board-level roles with a focus on SMCR, CASS, compliance monitoring and financial crime, Nicholas worked in a number of frontline areas, including onboarding, client support, business development and marketing, meaning that he has an in-depth understanding of how the component parts of an investment firm should be put together.

Nicholas leads the team handling regulatory applications including new firm authorisation, approved persons, variation of permission and change in control.

Having graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Nicholas spent a decade working in the training, coaching and event management fields in Europe and Asia before his switch into the City.
